Botox (Botulinum Toxin) is a popular aesthetic treatment used to treat lines in different parts of the face.
What is Botox good for?
Botox is good for areas such as forehead lines, crows feet and frown lines - these are caused by muscle activity and so respond well to this treatment.
What procedure is used?
Botox is injected into a muscle which then causes the muscle to relax.
How long before I notice results?
Generally it takes about 2-3 days to begin working with maximum effect after approximately 14 days. The effect will wear off after about 3-4 months but can last up to 6 months with continuing treatments.
